After years of being away from Australia due to the pandemic, Brett's job brought us to the Bellarine Peninsula, near his hometown of Melbourne. As we rented abodes along the coast, we met kind strangers — including one in Ocean Grove who entrusted us with her pugs and home for a month while she worked abroad. Soon after, we earned the reputation of 'fancy' pet-sitters thanks to our standard of care (and posh places we'd host furry clients).

Since 2023, this passion for pet care has only grown. Combining our backgrounds in luxury goods retail and media, with our experience launching and running a vegan food business in Diane's hometown of Toronto, we built this premium pet supplies store. The dream is to open a dog-friendly spot where pups can roam while owners shop and enjoy themselves. Vanity Fur sitting, and now shopping, brings us closer to making that a reality.
